College is for snobs, birth control is bad, Protestants are bad, JFK
was wrong about separation of Church and State...these are the quotes
that people remember. What is his economic plan? That's harder to come
up with and that's what matters. The stuff he harps on resonates with
a small number of people. To be clear about that: there are people who
actually share his beliefs that do not share his belief that the
President needs to be going big government on social issues. So those
that think it's just great when he goes off about this or that are not
many. Certainly in the general election his numbers would set a record
for how badly someone could lose. And that with Obama's numbers not
being stellar. I've said Obama could be beaten, and that's possible.
But not by this guy.
