Love it!

Thanks, Annie. I like the isolated person near the water's edge. Paddy

Yes, brings a proportion to it - but the sky and water are beautiful

Nice. A crossfade of sky colours combined with a progression from solid clouds through broken to clear. But where's the Big Smoke? I thought it was east of you, annie.

It's more to the north - sits about north northeast from the other windows - the one I use for the sunrises this time of year (and at the other end of the year) faces east southeast...more or less. Once the sun gets past this window that's on an angle, I use the sunroom window.

Now you have another moniker; skyannie!

Like it!...I'm a sky lover, too, from way back.

And
They are so different from the monotonous slate gray marine layer that so often blankets western Washington State.

In Maine you often find that by digging with a backhoe.

Hahaha! I'll bet you can find it that way in western Washington, too :-)

Great clouds, Paddy!

We didn't have any clear areas. It was snow all morning.
{Photography.29.937}: annie {oceanannie} Wed, 27 Feb 2013 20:15:07 EST (HTML)
{Photography.29.938}: Jil {rabbit} Thu, 28 Feb 2013 08:51:20 EST (2 lines)
We have so much heavy snow this morning, I'm afraid some of the trees are going to break.
{Photography.29.939}: annie {oceanannie} Thu, 28 Feb 2013 11:01:55 EST (HTML)
{Photography.29.940}: Jil {rabbit} Thu, 28 Feb 2013 11:40:06 EST (2 lines)
Hard to believe, but it's almost all gone now. The snow was so wet that it just took a rise of a couple of degrees for it to fall off.
{Photography.29.941}: annie {oceanannie} Thu, 28 Feb 2013 16:39:01 EST (HTML)
{Photography.29.942}: Jil {rabbit} Thu, 28 Feb 2013 17:41:57 EST (1 line)
We got considerably more snow than that this morning.
