I know some here are into photo editing with programs like Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc., but if you want to be doing that and don't have one of the standard (and expensive) software programs, this site has a free online editor that has many/most of the features of the pricy stuff. It is on a site called simply the Photography Forum. It is a U.K. based site for discussion of photography, Photoshop, editing, and anything related to those topics. It has a mix of pros, intermediates and beginners to photography and Photoshop, and some of the folks there are very knowledgeable.
They have recently added this editor to the site, and it is unique
among online photo editors (at least the ones that I know about) in
that it has many/most of the tools that you find in the top line
programs, including a history panel, healing tool, transform and
distort, lots of filters, and best of all, layers and layer
masks, something that I have never seen in a free program. If
you're interested, you can go to the site here, and in the
navigation bar at the top click "Photo Editor." You may have to sign
up and log in before you can actually use it, but you can join the forum
here. It's all free.
