Skyscapes

Ya gotta love sunsets.

I've been fortunate to live in some places with amazing sunset views from home or
nearby, especially our place in the Bay Area.

Much as I love it where we are now, being in the middle of the forest, in a swale
between two higher ridges, means sunset is something that happens to a patch in the
sky straight above and some slight color through the trees to the west, maybe. Better
in winter, but the ridge still makes the horizon close.

Fortunately, there are some spots not too far away that offer great sunset views, but
I'm only there if I make an effort to catch a sunset.

And sometimes we all just happen to be in the right place at the right time. I took this
at the end of soccer practice last fall.
