Hmm... A Nismo GT-R is coming. "http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2013/02/nismo-gt-r-coming-in-next-12-months-ceo-says.html"
{Wheels.5.3071}: Jil {rabbit} Wed, 27 Feb 2013 13:09:07 EST (1 line)
So I heard~!
{Wheels.5.3072}: Joseph Kang {jsk} Wed, 27 Feb 2013 15:52:00 EST (2 lines)
No matter how many times I ask, my Nissan dealership refuses to loan me a GT-R when I have my car in for service. :-P
{Wheels.5.3073}: Jil {rabbit} Wed, 27 Feb 2013 18:25:37 EST (2 lines)
I drove one once. I can't imagine having one for a daily driver, but it sure was fun for a toot around the track.
{Wheels.5.3074}: Joseph Kang {jsk} Wed, 27 Feb 2013 21:54:03 EST (3 lines)
Someone at the health club I go to has one as a daily driver. Of course, I am jealous. I've been tempted to just sit out in the parking lot and wait to see who gets in it so I can ask for one quick ride.
{Wheels.5.3075}: Jil {rabbit} Thu, 28 Feb 2013 08:51:50 EST (2 lines)
They're very noisy. In a good way, but I think it would wear thin on a daily basis.
{Wheels.5.3076}: Doug White {dwhite} Fri, 01 Mar 2013 09:07:40 EST (2 lines)
I disagree. I never get tired of my "noisy" motorcycles; a car with similar performance would never wear thin!
{Wheels.5.3077}: Jil {rabbit} Fri, 01 Mar 2013 09:29:51 EST (2 lines)
I guess it depends on the person. We had a loud car and I found it got tiresome.
{Wheels.5.3078}: Joe Gordon {darmund} Sat, 02 Mar 2013 22:43:08 EST (5 lines)
Trust me, living above a bar frequented by some biker gang member and some wannabes and having them gun their goddamn motorcycles for ten goddamn minutes at 1:15 on a hot July morning gets old REALLY fast. And of course they peel out and gun the engine as they finally leave.
{Wheels.5.3079}: Doug White {dwhite} Sun, 03 Mar 2013 11:55:25 EST (1 line)
Apples and oranges. The bike annoyed YOU, not the rider.

Now then, THIS IS WHY THE ARMY CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS:

Ha!
{Wheels.5.3082}: Joe Gordon {darmund} Sun, 07 Apr 2013 15:30:37 EDT (HTML)
Here's my entirely serious and only tangentially related question: given that the Ring has cars running all over it a good bit of the time be they the 'public' or testers testing new models or whatever, how the hell can people manage to graffiti the hell out of the road and not get hit or the pain get smeared? I'd assume there's at least semi-competent security to keep people from sneaking onto the place, but I'm guessing I'm wrong.
And on another German car related note, you can spend $24,000 on
leather alone in a Porsche Panamera: "http://jalopnik.com/you-can-
actually-spend-24-000-on-leather-alone-in-the-471005165"
{Wheels.5.3083}: Jil {rabbit} Sun, 07 Apr 2013 16:40:42 EDT (2 lines)
I was wondering about that myself. I'm guessing it was done at night, but still ...
{Wheels.5.3084}: Joe Gordon {darmund} Mon, 08 Apr 2013 20:52:22 EDT (5 lines)
And it's not like there's graffiti in just a couple of spots, the whole circuit seems to be covered by it. Reminiscent of a high school in my home city where the seniors to be would graffiti up the road that passed in front of the school one night during the summer, at least until 5 of them were run down and run over by a couple of drag racers.

It always amazes me how much on a Porsche is extra.

Now then, are you sitting down?
Seriously, are you sitting down?
Because I GUARANTEE you will not see a more WHAT THE FUCK???!!! auto

{Wheels.5.3089}: Joe Gordon {darmund} Fri, 12 Apr 2013 22:14:28 EDT (2 lines)
I call bullshit. No way the cop would let that car go out on the road like that.
{Wheels.5.3090}: Ford F150 {fvehafric} Fri, 12 Apr 2013 22:21:35 EDT (1 line)
I don't think it ever left the parking lot.
{Wheels.5.3091}: Joe Gordon {darmund} Wed, 08 May 2013 13:00:46 EDT (HTML)
Notice that most of them don't use their turn signal.
{Wheels.5.3092}: Jil {rabbit} Sat, 11 May 2013 12:06:03 EDT (1 line)
They're an option. Most of the supercar guys don't order them.
{Wheels.5.3093}: Joe Gordon {darmund} Sat, 11 May 2013 16:59:50 EDT (HTML)
Jil, this is a long piece, thoughts? Doesn't speak well of Chevy:

Interesting. I actually like the Sonic and Cruze for the price.
