What a great picture! Love the hint of pink.

No, I don't mind, Rick. I did the same thing to see what it would look like. The touch of pink was because it was sunset.

Diane, that's great. One of the things I like about reflected images is how they are usually disorienting - it takes me a moment to figure out what's going on.

Great - it succeeds in being gorgeous, moody and ingenious.

Both of those are so interesting. (I like the flip Rick) I know it's a reflection of the sky in 51.8 but my mind keeps whispering fire and fog.

Wow....... I *really* like Hole In The Sky {8}, Diane. Totally zens me out.

Gorgeous!

Please, somebody crop the non-reflection part off the top and repost it! Very cool.
{Photography.51.18}: Kai Hagen {kai} Fri, 20 Feb 2004 14:03:04 CST (HTML)
On the matter of cropping it, however, this is cropped. I meant to leave that bit of
ground at the top! :-)

May I use that as wallpaper, Kai?
{Photography.51.20}: Kai Hagen {kai} Fri, 20 Feb 2004 18:10:37 CST (1 line)
Soitenly!
{Photography.51.21}: Diane Hamilton {dianeh} Fri, 20 Feb 2004 18:53:45 CST (3 lines)
I swear I posted in here and it's not here. ;-( Great shot, Kai. YOur photos of reflections are what got me started taking reflected shots. You are the Yoda of the genre.

How mystical.
{Photography.51.23}: Kai Hagen {kai} Sat, 21 Feb 2004 19:28:24 CST (HTML)
It helps to have a pond by the house...though I do look for them elsewhere.
This one is a little bigger file than I'd prefer to post, even cutting it down from 10 to 8 inches width, and saving for web. But, what the heck...
Taken at another pond...

omg, those are absolutely stunning! Me too for the wall paper... Diane, Merv and I went hiking with our cameras today. I was mindful of your "reflections" thread while we were about. I'm hoping some of them come out well.
