For reasons having to do with having literally ZERO money and lets
leave it at that mainaitance on my Acura CL has been limited to
putting gas in it for the past 3 years. However I haven't been driving
it very much it all and then only on very short trips usually well
under 10 miles. Anyway I was going to go out the other day got in the
car, turned the key and literally EVERY light on the dash light up and
all I get is a clicking sound. I'm guessing it isn't the battery since
the radio and lights work, but I dunno maybe related to oil or lack of
it. I bought a bottle a few months ago and after measuring and finding
NOT VERY M<UCH on the dipstick thingee poured it in.

Could this be a case of burning off the oil? If I add in a couple more
cans could I get the car going?

And can we please spare the "DON"T YOU KNOW YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE OIL
BLAH blah!!"

Yes I do know that.

But I also have no insurance the car hasn't been inspected or
registered and my license is expired and presuimably suspended.

I have ZERO money to get anywhere near remedying ANY of those things
so please don't.

I know I'm a horrible person blah, blah.

It wouldn't be so bad but I'm about two miles from the nearest
shopping center and while my landlord has been pretty nice, when I was
talking over the rent situation last month the word "Lieing" was used
by her in reference to me, this after i had laid out the details of my
various car issues, minus it not starting which she doesn't know
about.

If it IS the oil is it going to really mess the car up if i try and
get it jump started?
