Neat. Three V-shaped pairs of limbs in that photo.

Self Smudge Portrait

Didn't you have a moustache before? Am I thinking of someone else?

It is I, sans. This photo painting was made a couple of months ago.
The smudge brush removed all my warts and wrinkles. I hardly
recognized myself, except for the snaggle teeth. I've been growing a
winter coat for a couple of weeks now, preparing for winter.

Ah, I was sure your face was hirsute...but it's fun to see what's under the fur, too!

Paddy, it's always so great to see you here in the Photo forum :-)

And what a lovely (if hairless) self portrait! Nice treatment.

Thanks for the return welcome, C’! I was away for longer than I
realized; been distracted by my determination to become a terrific
digital painter. It is nice to have a dream and the inclination to
follow it.

And, I’ve been a fan of yours on Flickr. Shucks; paint me a fan,
wherever.

Hahahaha! Great one! But, aren't those "friends" actually your long
lost sons you rescued from Mordor?

Hi Steve. I guess that’s just the way the fleece folds? No
doctoring on this part; it must be my broad cowboy shoulders.

Lisa, it must be the magic of digital?

It has been raining for two days in Casa Grande, AZ. And cold. We
are snowbirding in southern Arizona for the winter. What fun.
Keeping up with friends on the NewCafe, Flickr, Eons and Facebook.

I’m enjoying lawn bowling at Palms Creek in Casa Grande. It is more
of a Canadian pastime, but I’ve learned how to play the game.

Lawn bowling? Canadian?? I know there are lawn bowling clubs and
enthusiasts Up Here, but it's less Canadian than British, I'd say.

The wavy line I was asking about in your picture isn't the shoulder
line of your fleece. It's above that, just below ear level. It's a
very clear delineation, although not obtrusive. Above it the sky is
kinda blue-grey compared to the deeper blue of the rest of the
background.

That's the hood on his jacket, Steve, It's kind of bunched up at the
top. It can be seen clearly in the picture that this was cropped from.

At least you're getting only rain. Up here on the mountain it has
been snow. Yesterday I had to drive to town twice in moderate snowfall
and slushy roads. Luckily there has been very little more
accumulation. I can get in and out of my driveway easily now.
