I'm starting this topic so we can all play with the same pictures.

Here's one of mine, have fun with it. (if you don't have a place on the web where you can link to your picture, for this first one you can email it to me and I will link to it.)

The photo was taken in Key West.

Got it saved to play with later. Have a meeting in town in a bit.

Nice painting Suzanne!

Here's a different interpretation, more subdued .....

Here's mine...

They are all interesting, Hazel2's especially so for me. It really
draws me in.

Suzanne's is showing up as a broken link for me.

Playing with Corel Photo

I always liked Corel Photo.

I've got 2. They really are both from the photo.

But I might actually "do" the second one sometime.

Long after I get the yellow dogs ready for the Democrats.

Which Hazel used my idea. Worse than that, she MAY have done it
better.

It's very nice.

But I'm glad I posted two versions!! ;-)

I think I put the spaces in wrong, although it worked for a while. Weird.

Let's try again:

wow! cool stuff.

here's mine;

{Photography.28.13}: Suzanne Griffith {sggriffith} Sat, 16 Aug 2003 18:09:46 CDT (1 line)

Those rocks turned out to be interesting!

--------

{Photography.28.14}: Amanda Peck {amanda615} Sat, 16 Aug 2003 19:03:00 CDT (7 lines)

And we got to do SOMETHING that worked with the lack of detail in the
bushes and those obviously imported rocks put in to stabilize the
shoreline.

Good choice for a picture to work with.

Nobody's tried for the boat yet.

It can be done. (erased the earlier one because I made the size of
the picture bigger and the link didn't follow the title)

sort of, anyway.

Wow! Where did the disk come from ?

I love the variety of effects people are coming up with.

IT looks like an eyeball to me.

Diane - that was so much fun! Great idea for a topic. :)

Here's my version of your key west photo (I played with it in Painter 7):

{Photography.28.22}: Which Hazel? {hazel2} Sun, 17 Aug 2003 11:53:13 CDT (6 lines)

Enjoying looking at all these variations!

S2, did you add stuff to the picture from other sources, or did you
get those neat effects by doing something to the pic itself? If the
latter, I'd sure like to know how you did that! I like the disc, and
the way the underlying image changes as it passes over the circle.

{Photography.28.23}: Suzanne Griffith {sggriffith} Sun, 17 Aug 2003 12:13:21 CDT (3 lines)

Carla, you turned the sea into a desert!

I always knew you were a goddess ;-)

Here's one I did without the bush...

I thought that somebody stole a mushroom off my computer hard drive!

Diane's Jewel-toned sunset! Wow.
