I hear the bee population is on the decline.  I recommend lavender
plants for all.  I have two and they are swarmed almost constantly.
Not only would we have honey, the world would smell a lot better

We had a swarm in our yard earlier this summer and they found a nice
hollow about 80 feet up in one of our fir trees. They are still there.
This is what they looked like as they started to settle in to their new
home, 1200 mm lens 2X crop.
