:-) My GF says I should make a poster of the View Project thingy.

Kai, Tram 28 is "famous" in that it winds its way through central Lisbon up and over the hilly "old Lisbon" neighbourhood of Alfama. It's an old historical route that is still run to this day.

Tram 28 shows up in many references (books, films, etc.) to Lisbon, and it's nice that all you have to pay is the regular fare, even though it's like taking an historical tour. Half the people on the tram are tourists and half are regular folks going about their daily business.

The route is through steep and narrow roads that wind and twist through the some of the oldest streets in Lisbon -- many of which survived the earthquake in 1755 because they are built on bedrock. It come places the road is so narrow that pedestrians on the sidewalk have to press themselves against the wall when the tram goes by.

Here's the view from inside...

And here's the view from out the window...
