Liane just sent me a link to this article. "http://www.news.com.au/story/0,10117,19286636- 421,00.html"

Apparently, cassowaries have been dislocated by devastation of their food supply in the aftermath of Cyclone Larry in Queensland and are marauding nearby towns looking for food. This would be less of a problem if there were little birds or not so dangerous to people.

Here is a link I found to a dove nesting cone, Magillacutty. "http://birding.about.com/library/weekly/aa030603a.htm " I would love to do that, but would just be providing snacks for my cats.
