If you stick with it, you'll probably be surprised by little leaps you'll take.

Sort of like when I first had an interest - oh so many years ago - in learning more
about trees. I started with basic identification, of course. And, at that time, when I
would be comparing leaves side by side, with a guide book in hand, I never would
have believed I'd get to the point...before too long...of being able to tell them apart in
mid-winter, from a hundred yards, at sixty miles an hour!

It may seem like a bewildering amount of barely distinguishable small birds and bird
sounds right now. But that's going to change!
