A place for the exceptionally designed and unabashedly cool.

All righty then. To start things off, here's a Daimler sports model I saw at a gas station in BC last week. Check out the fins on the rear fender. I thought those went out in the 50s! But it's still an interesting car.

And here's a blast from the past. I don't think MG is making cars any longer--I could be wrong, of course--but I managed to catch this one in traffic in Vancouver.

Cool cars--cool pix! My wife's brother-in-law restores very old cars--he'd be fascinated by these. From the second Studebaker shot, now we know why the back-end storage compartment is called the "trunk."

A more recent Studebaker.

Wow, that's a sweet looking car! But all the dials and switches make me go cross-eyed. I can't imagine what they're all used for.

thought you might like this...don't know why the end part isn't blue,
I copied it from the site.

Annie, those long URLs that continue on to a second line need quotation marks on either end to hold them together. Like so: "http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?feature=endscreen&=R=1&v=RvVmDsWnMOk"

Nice! Did Buick make a station wagon version of those models? It looks a lot like the car my folks had when I was a little kid.
{Photography.111.25}: TJ {tj2} Sun, 01 Jul 2012 13:26:23 CDT (1 line)
They made a station wagon in more than one model.
