{Photography.95.1}: Curt McNamara {curtmc} Mon, 18 Sep 2006 23:18:28 CDT (1 line)
I looked and couldn't find a fall topic, so here we go!

Wonderful picture. The bends of the tree give the pic a lot of character. What part of the country was this taken in?

Fall colors in Denali National Park, Alaska

Beautiful and painterly! I should never go there since I wouldn't be able to stop taking pictures ... My shot was from a city park in Bloomington, Minnesota. Curt

Ooh I'm gonna be up in your neck of the woods in a couple weeks. I hope I don't need snow boots 'cause I don't have any!

Depends on where you're going... the ski areas (Snowbird, Alta) east of SLC got a foot of snow, and there's another storm due to hit tomorrow.

Hi Nan: You keep getting snow like that and Alta is going to open in the next few weeks!! Hi Robinm: Where is your picture of the beautiful, stately oaks from? It looks like a great place to go kick leaves on a fall afternoon walk.
{Photography.95.11}: Cleophus {cleophus} Wed, 20 Sep 2006 02:01:58 CDT (1 line)
I love the golden glow thru the leaves in the upper-left.

Yeah -- it's the light as much as the picture

Richard, that was taken in the town where I live (Lethbridge, Alberta). That pic was from last fall -- the leaves are just now starting to change, so I am getting excited about taking some new fall pics!
{Photography.95.14}: Nan {nanwill} Thu, 21 Sep 2006 22:45:00 CDT (2 lines)
Right on, Richard -- this picture was taken in the fall (October) last year at Alta. It's still snowing up there and will through tomorrow...

Buffy, the people in {21} make all the difference in the compostion. Nan, are those the Tetons? I love the Jackson Hole area.
{Photography.95.24}: Buffy {tajour} Mon, 02 Oct 2006 22:31:20 CDT (3 lines)
Thanks, Paddrick. I was having a hard time getting them to all stay in one place without asking them to pose (They're family and I'm a slow hiker).

{23} Yes, that's the entrance to Grand Teton National Park at Moose, Wyoming.
