The objects of your attention! |

And, I'm guessing those were corduroy pants. Simply adorable! I can see why it's a favorite photo, Annie. What darling girls :-)

Doncha love those scarves! Both are still in the girls' possession. Yep, cord pants. The little jacket was cord, but the bigger one was grown-up twill with flannellette lining and real knitted cuffs, and oh didn't we think we were the cat's pyjamas.

I can remember just about everything in that life with those two - they were so much fun, and still are.

geez they are so adorable and it feels to weird to post another youngster photo. I think the scarves and shoes and cords should make a come back. Isn't it amazing how clearly the memories are captured with a photo?
{Photography.13.122}: annie {oceanannie} Thu, 25 Sep 2008 21:23:00 CDT (3 lines)
It is indeed! But I think there are probably a lot of our posters who are around 48-50, and their childhood photos might show the same sort of thing...??

I have one in a box somewhere of me in a scarf like that. It was 1944 or '45.

Go find it! Please do.... Do we have a topic in here specifically for old photos...I have read the topics a number of times but so easily miss things if the titles aren't terribly obvious.

I looked, I can't find it. It may be with the pictures I left with a daughter before we moved. I was indescribably cute, I can tell you that.

This photo was taken Christmas Day 1981 the day after our adopted daughter came to live with us. She was 18 months old. I was 36.

Oops the photo was taken Dec 25 1980 and I was only 35. I only just saw the Feb 81 date stamp at the bottom right.

Oh, yes Coyote, that's the one! Thanks. Last pic in was the Dupont camper for T.J.'s delectation!! Anyhow, I'll remember now and any more nostalgic stuff can go there.

Gotta love that guy.

My daughter from L.A. is coming for a couple of days in about a week and has a friend who wants the one on the left for $100, so she'll take it back with her. I've started another one...
The one on the right is the same size; it's further back and the
angle makes it look smaller.
{Photography.13.139}: Donald Dozier {donaldpd} Sat, 07 Feb 2015 12:25:10 CST (1 line)
Great job, Terry. Got any $10 ones?

A board costs $16.00 Donald. Then there's the glue, nails, plexiglass, rope, electricity, and my invaluable time. No, nothing for $10.
