I remember hearing about her in college. Supposedly she was the first African woman to get a vetrinary degree as well.

At least, the south shows how environment and nature respect are closer to people's concerns, and integration in the natural components of life is still effective. Wangari planted thousands of trees and strugled women's rights and nature rights. She took action, "her" reality and destiny in hand. Lest's do our best from ourside !!
