Annie, yours looks like a Japanese composition, very linear and vertical. Nice.

Thank you Myra - my mother studied Ikebana for a number of years, and
sometimes an arrangement will catch my eye and remind me of that art.

I love pussy willows! But I haven't seen any in years. Where did they
all go? <sob!>

Maybe you've been in dry areas - willows need rivers and creeks -
wetlands. Even by our creek there aren't pussy willows, just willow
trees that don't have fuzzy buds. The ones I shot were in the pots
the landscapers put by the doors.

I was calling this one a melt waterfall but it's more like a melt
water trickle.

This one has a bit more movement but it's still not much like a
waterfall!

Beautiful rock formation, too.

Although it's been below the growth temp of 10C, Spring is closer than we think judging by these fat buds down by the creek in the rain this morning.

Indeed it has. Playing hooky today, busting out the fly rods.

Almost here today, but nothing to show for it around me other than the beautiful tulips I was given, but they were grown in a local farmer's hot house.

A year plus one month later, we're still hollering the same thing! We seem to be about 2 weeks behind what we were in 2009 when this pic was taken. The trees are in just about the same state.
