Actually, I'll do one better. I'll just post this:

They were an "alternative" band from the 80s who had a song called
"Bitchin' Camaro". You can find the lyrics at
"http://www.deadmilkmen.com/song-lyrics/".

:-)

Super. Thanks so very much.

I'm lovin' my 350Z roadster, but if anything could persuade me to be
unfaithful, it might be this:

I've wanted an Alfa Romeo since I was in college. Maybe by the time
this hits the U.S., I'll be ready to trade in the Z.

{Wheels.13.93}: Jil {rabbit} Sat, 23 Jun 2007 13:47:01 EDT (1 line)

Alfas are cool. I've never driven one, but I'd like to.

--------

{Wheels.13.94}: Bianca R. {lily1} Sat, 23 Jun 2007 15:54:13 EDT (3 lines)

It's a "thanks for the memories" kind of thing, isn't it? They've
never been known as super-reliable cars, but the sweet fun sexy thing
is all about the Alfas.

--------

{Wheels.13.95}: Jil {rabbit} Sat, 23 Jun 2007 16:18:17 EDT (1 line)

I just love the look of them.

--------

{Wheels.13.96}: Bianca R. {lily1} Sat, 23 Jun 2007 23:24:41 EDT (1 line)

Me too.

{Wheels.13.97}: Alessa {alessa} Sun, 24 Jun 2007 12:57:44 EDT (1 line)

Me three... maybe it has to do with the "Romeo" name 8^)

Oh. My. God. This thing is a chick magnet, a cop magnet, and an
instant attention-getter. Why didn't you tell me driving this thing
would be so much fun? It's the dead of winter and I haven't even
had the top down yet (except to examine the mechanism) and I'm still
turning heads just by showing up! I'm gonna get used to this!

{Wheels.13.99}: Diamond Jim {jmgiunta} Thu, 24 Jan 2008 22:58:04 EST (6 lines)

Oh, it's this car:
rged/photo_19.jpg"

Not the girl, though. She was an option, not standard with the
Touring model.

I do like the styling, especially the headlights. Wait till you can
drop the top!

--------

{Wheels.13.101}: Diamond Jim {jmgiunta} Thu, 24 Jan 2008 23:16:34 EST (1 line)

It drops right in! Nothing to snap or clip or zip!

--------

{Wheels.13.102}: Doug White {dwhite} Thu, 24 Jan 2008 23:30:55 EST (3 lines)

They are a tourist rental vehicle where I live (Hawaii), so I guess the
novelty has worn off for me. In an area where they are less common I
bet it would be a lot of fun!

--------

{Wheels.13.103}: Bianca R. {lily1} Fri, 25 Jan 2008 14:41:44 EST (5 lines)

Congratulations! This one was a long time in the planning stages for
you, wasn't it. Welcome to the wonderful world of top-down driving!

What color did you get? What options? What tires? Are they ok for
winter driving?

--------

{Wheels.13.104}: Diamond Jim {jmgiunta} Fri, 25 Jan 2008 20:23:01 EST (8 lines)

Yes, I thought about it for a long time, but I only shopped for
about a day!

I got marathon blue, just like the pic in the link above. No clue
about my tires! I'll ask if they're appropriate when I go back to
the dealer to pick up my new plates.

Thanks, Bianca.

Nice color. I think both of their blues are good looking.

My Z has "don't even THINK about driving in snow" tires, so I wondered
what came with the Sebring.

--------

{Wheels.13.106}: Jil {rabbit} Fri, 25 Jan 2008 22:58:43 EST (2 lines)

The Sebring will come with all-season as standard equipment. You
can't get the performance summer tires on it.

--------

{Wheels.13.107}: Diamond Jim {jmgiunta} Sat, 26 Jan 2008 01:18:48 EST (2 lines)

Just as well--I don't have a garage and I wouldn't want to store an
extra set of tires.

--------

{Wheels.13.108}: Jil {rabbit} Sat, 26 Jan 2008 08:28:45 EST (2 lines)

If you're in a snowy area, there's no substitute for winter tires,
although I know storage can be tough.

I have a 1966 Corvair Monza Convertible. Hasn't been on the road a
while though. I'm in the process of restoring it.

--------

{Wheels.13.110}: Jil {rabbit} Wed, 06 Feb 2013 07:05:22 EST (2 lines)

Now that's cool. The former mayor of our town here is a Corvair
fiend and I believe his convertible is a 1966.

--------

{Wheels.13.111}: Joseph Kang {jsk} Wed, 06 Feb 2013 10:31:08 EST (4 lines)

Every July 4th, we attend the parade for a neighboring suburb and they
always have the local Corvair club run in the parade. I actually see
one of those cars around fairly regularly in nicer weather because one
of the club members apparently lives somewhere in our neighborhood.

{Wheels.13.112}: Jil {rabbit} Wed, 06 Feb 2013 10:46:29 EST (1 line)

We have a few around here that come out each spring.

{Wheels.13.113}: Karl Haakonsen {jaco1} Tue, 29 Jul 2014 07:10:42 EDT (2 lines)

Jil, where are you located. I probably know of a large percentage of
Corvair fiends in the world. :)

--------

{Wheels.13.114}: Jil {rabbit} Tue, 29 Jul 2014 08:25:33 EDT (1 line)

I'm near Toronto, Ontario.
